Foster or volunteer
SBARC runs on people who show up for the animals. Open your home to a pet who needs one for a while, or give your time at the shelter — both make a real difference in how quickly animals find their families.
Foster a pet
SBARC is looking for qualified fosters to care for animals and help prepare them for adoption. A foster home gives an animal time to settle and grow while it waits — and opens up space at the shelter for the next one who needs it.
Volunteer at the shelter
SBARC is always looking for friendly, dependable volunteers. You'll improve daily life for the animals — walking dogs, socializing cats, and keeping the shelter clean — and help behind the scenes with adoption events, fundraising, and welcoming visitors.
